We have been learning about Procedure Writing.
First we read some examples. Then we worked on an example and finally we created our own game and wrote the procedure to play it.

We were practising procedure writing today with an app called book creator.

Today we were learning how our body defends itself against viral attacks. We used drama to try and help make some sense of it all.

Sixth Class are busy preparing for their graduation. Watch this space for some videos of their rehearsals. They have composed their own songs…

Graduation is at 1:30 next Tuesday in the school hall. Parents, grandparents, aunts uncles all very welcome!

The very interesting and exciting tennis lessons finished yesterday. All the children enjoyed Jamie’s sense of humour. Lots of new nicknames were acquired as the children learned how to accurately perform the various striking techniques involved in the game. There were prizes every week and each group had an overall winner an runners-up on the final day. The children report having enormous fun and are very grateful to the Parents Association for organising this activity.

Jack has something on his mind in Friend or Foe. Should he tell his father about the arms shipment he saw or not?!!!!

Sixth Class enjoyed  a day in Glendalough on Thursday 9th February. First we had an exciting treasure hunt around the environment of the upper lake. After lunch and a discussion on the principles of ‘Leave no Trace’, the class divided into three groups and went hiking up Spinc and down to the Miner’s Village.
