This week we were learning about the effects of climate change is having on the world. We examined how climate change is evident in Bangladesh, Kenya, Haiti and the Philippines. We could see how the climate is not as predictable as it used to be and some countries and getting hotter and some are getting more rainfall. We can’t stop global warming but we can learn how to live with it and slow it down. We can use fuel more carefully and recycle more and maybe walk to more places instead of driving. Our new classroom will be ready after Christmas and we are very excited. We can’t wait to start 2017 in our new room and look forward to moving in.

After five weeks we say a fond farewell to Ms. Nolan. Sixth Class have really enjoyed their time with Ms. Nolan and they have developed a great rapport with her. They have learned a vast amount during Ms. Nolan’s time in RNS. A very big thank you to Ms. Nolan for everything!

We are learning about tens and units in Maths this week. We have started playing the tin whistle and already know two tunes! Our space rockets will be finished soon and we can’t wait to show them off! We are keeping an eye out for the blue tit from our bird watch window.
