We started our class novel Private Peaceful by Michael Morpurgo with Miss. Nolan, this book is based on WW1.

In drama we have been creating short scenes about life at that time, we looked at the contrast between the rich and the poor and we have also looked at army recruitment.

There are certainly some budding actors and actresses in 6th class!

Sixth class have been learning all about Athletics for the past two weeks. Check out our sprints,relays and javelin throws!

We found the baton changeover tricky at the start but we are professionals now 😀

We were all scarily fabulous at Halloween and raised lots of money for charity too.

This week we are learning how to multiply fractions. We thought it would be difficult at first but we watched a video clip which explains it clearly.
